Can ping camera but cannot connect
« on: December 24, 2014, 02:35:48 PM »

Hi,

I can ping my camera and see it connected to the router but I cannot connect with camera software or directly with the ip address in a browser.  The camera is a remote location so I cannot reset or connect via ethernet cable.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Doug

From your post it sounds like you are unable to access the live video stream. Are you able to access the camera web UI from your browser?

I can't reboot the router or the camera because I'm not there.  I can log into the router and reboot it I guess.  I cant recognize any streaming format because I can't log into the camera.  I try the ip address and it won't connect in the browser but I can see it and ping it with ip scanners.

Thanks for your responses.
