Title: DIR-868L wireless signal strength suddenly reduced
Post by: daveeasey on July 17, 2016, 05:42:38 AM
Has anyone seen this behavio ???r?
My 868L has worked fine as long as I have had it. Now today both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signal strength has decreased markedly.
1m away the signal strength is about -80 dBm on both 2.4 and 5GHz. It was much higher before today.
Rev A hardware
I tried firmware 1.08, 1.09 and 1.10 with no change and factory reset.
I have tried all the settings inc. changing channels and b/g/n settings and strength settings and disabling 2.4 or 5GHz, no change.
It seems like a hardware issue.
Regards
Dave

Does this happen with a different PC or Laptop?
Check the power adapter out put voltage?

Be sure the router is in a cool well ventilated area.
