Link>Welcome!
  • What region are you located?
  • Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?
  • Was the router working before any firmware updates?

3rd Party Security Software Configurations
  • Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
  • Turn off all devices accept for one wired PC while testing.

Router Placement
Forum User - "Well I feel really dumb. After moving the router away from other electronic devices my speeds are back to normal. Just a heads up for anyone experiencing slow speeds, you might want to move it away from other electronics and see if that helps."
6" minimum safe distance between devices.

Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

everything works perfectly, except for the removal of a user in storage, I can not delete a user.
1 delete user
2 save setting
3 restart router

the deleted user (red) is not removed

Browser Firefox 25.0
DLink A1 Software Version 1:04

Factory reset doesn't help. I have exactly the same problem with DIR-826L Hardware Version: A1, Firmware Version: 1.05 ... After reset and cfg file imported into system, old users was there, but credentials doesn't work for sharePort. Deleting old users, after save, just setting path to blank, and another save is not possible, because you need to define paths  ??? ! ....

Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the Admin account on the router.

I have the same issue as stated by velepost.
I have set up my DIR-820L router's USB storeage feature today and am trying it out.
windoz XP SP3 - Firefox 20.0.1 - no antivirus or firewall  -  using a network cable not wifi to set the D-Link config app.
However when trying to delete a user account I made by clicking the delete icon beside it's listing
the interface responds by merely resetting the account 's Access path to "None"  instead of deleting the account.
So then I have 2 options -
1.) leave that page without saving ( which leaves me with the account as it was when I started)
2.)  click the Save Settings  button. Which then gives me the error message -
The Access Path path of user [ the user I am trying to delete] cannot be "None"

So then if I try to set a path for the user I am deleting ;   that user account gets reset to an active account which brings me back to where I started.
