Shareport problem

  I have DIR-860L router.  Have attached a 1TB drive to USB port, configured router storage, added a user/pw that exists in Win 10.  Can see the drive on the storage page.  No link shows up in the link window at the bottom of the page.

  I can open the drive using and the user credential entered on the storage page.

  When I try to map \\\drive name in Win 10, the drive is found, and I am prompted for password.  When I enter the pw ( identical in router storage page & Win 10), I get a Windows Security error 'the specified network password is not correct'.  I have re-entered the pw several times on the router storage page with no luck connecting.  Suggestions?
