5Ghz 802.11n not detected - HELP!
« on: May 14, 2009, 11:09:34 AM »

Just upgraded from 802.11b, yes B, to the DIR-825.  Got it up and running fine with the 2.4Ghz 802.11g connection, but my laptop cannot detect the 5Ghz 802.11n connection.  The laptop is an Acer Extensa 5630-4239 whose network connection is "Intel® Wireless WiFi Link network connection supporting 802.11a/b/g/Draft N"

I have tried playing around with various settings (5Ghz only, auto detect, etc.) that I have seen in other topics on this forum, but none have worked, and some I just did not understand.  Please help me by telling me what my setting should be for the 5Ghz channel.  Thanks!
