Hi guys.

I'm running Fun_plug 0.7 on my DNS-325 (armv5) NAS. I'm trying to install Plex Media Server, BUT I DO NOT want the DLink ShareCenter plugin found at http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=60858.0. I want the plain server install app. I don't want no Sharecenter plugins.... personal choice.

I've installed the plexmediaserver.sh package found using slacker. My only problem is that it seems that the download link in the script is trying to download the PlexMediaServer package from a URL at the Plex website which no longer exists, at least, for armv5 architecture! It's trying to find it at: http://downloads.plexapp.com/plex-media-server/0.9.8.18.290-11b7fdd/PlexMediaServer-0.9.8.18.290-11b7fdd-arm.spk

I've tried to download the latest Plex server from https://www.plex.tv/downloads/, but armv5 is no longer available. It's apparently no longer supported by Plex after 0.9.x. (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/218212517-Which-NAS-devices-are-no-longer-supported-starting-with-0-9-17-0-server-).

ANYWAYS, does anyone know where I could find the PlexMediaServer-0.9.8.18.290-11b7fdd-arm.spk package, or any other versions for armv5 which used to be available on the Plex website? I'm having no luck so far, since all websites simply point to the plex site.

Much thanks in advance for any tips!

Patrick

If this can help anyone else, I finally managed to find working copies of Plex Media Server for ARMv5 Architecture!.

URL: https://usdl.synology.com/download/Package/spk/Plex%20Media%20Server/

For my NAS (DNS-325), because it's running GLIBC v. 2.5, the last plex server working is version 0.9.9.10. If you've got GLIBC 2.7 and up installed, then you could install a more recent version of the Plex Server. Just run '/lib/libc.so.6' to see which version you've got.

If anyone knows a place where I could find more recent versions of PlexServer compiled against GLIBC 2.5, I'd like to hear about it.

Cheers all ! Pat
