I just bought a dir-835. All my computers, wireless or connected with a wire can't load 3/4 of videos on youtube, and 3/4 of images on facebook. Facebook goes into an infinite loading that never finish. Gaming is fine, it's mostly browsing on internet that is causing problem. Everything was working fine before plugging the new router.

Welcome!
What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
What region are you located?

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?
If this modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.
To tell if the modem is bridged or not, look at the routers web page, Status/Device Info/Wan Section, if there is a 192.168.0.# address in the WAN IP address field, then the modem is not bridged.
If the modem can't be bridged then see if the modem has a DMZ option and input the IP address the router gets from the modem and put that into the modems DMZ.

Some things to try:
Turn off ALL QoS or Disable Traffic Shaping (DIR only) GameFuel (DGL only and if ON.) options. Advanced/QoS or Gamefuel.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.

Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. Setup/Networking
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP under Advanced/Firewall.
Enable uPnP and Multi-cast Streaming under Advanced/Networking.

Turn off WISH, and WPS under Advanced.
Turn off Short GI, WLAN Partition, and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PCs while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.

Hello thanks for your help!

What Hardware version is your router? h/w ver: a1 f/w ver:1.01
What Firmware version is currently loaded? 1.01
What region are you located? canada, montreal

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL? videotron cable
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router? stand alone
What ISP Modem make and model do you have? arris touchstone tm502g

Turn off ALL QoS or Disable Traffic Shaping (DIR only) Traffic Shaping is not checkboxed GameFuel (DGL only and if ON.) options. Advanced/QoS or Gamefuel.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.
Advanced DNS is disabled

Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. Setup/Networking Done but not helping
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address. Pretty sure they are actually because i'm on dynamic IP
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP under Advanced/Firewall. Done, videos on youtube take very very very long to start loading, but when they load it's super fast. Facebook took very very long to end the infinite loading circle, but some images stay blank. Seem like it helped a bit
Enable uPnP and Multi-cast Streaming under Advanced/Networking. done, uPnP are enabled and both multicast are too not, not helping

I don't know what else to try, i'm on 2 wired computers, 1 wireless laptop (facebook seem to load better but youtube is the same) and same symptoms appear on all computers.

I don't know if it can affect the router network, but when I installed the router I could not install it with the Quick install disc it was saying that there was no ethernet cable connected between my router and my computer. But internet was working on my computer... So I went on the router itself (192.168.0.1) and did the setup wizard.. I just found weird that the computer couldnt find the router when it was connected properly..  :-\

Try swapping out cables?
CAT6 is recommended...
Best way to set up the router is manually.

One thing we've seen is some issues with Arris modems. One thing if you can test this out, take the router to a different location, say a friend, neighbor or family member and see if this issue follows. Any chance of getting a different modem by chance? Or are you stuck with the Arris?

Well I didn't have the opportunity to try it on a different modem. What I did is put my old router back (Its a dinosaur a DI-604) and bang facebook and youtube loaded perfectly. Pretty sure the problem is the router, or this router with the Arris modem. Unfortunately I can't test it on another modem since my friends are all with the same ISP as me (This ISP use Arris touchstone). I really don't know what is causing this, I can't believe i'm the only one experiencing this.  :-\
