DIR-655 w/ DAP-1522
« on: May 07, 2010, 06:47:46 AM »

I have a DIR-655 set up, with a 1522 connected as an access point.  My understanding was that this should allow everything to work as if it's all on a single LAN, but either I've misunderstood that, or I've got something set up wrong.  Either way, I'm at the limit of my knowledge.

Some of my wireless devices are listed on the 655 wireless status page, some of them are listed on the 1522 status page.  Any devices connected to the 655 cannot talk to devices connected through the 1522 and vice-versa (although they all can reach the external internet).  For example, the laptop which hits the 1522 wireless can see the air port express, which is on the 1522 wireless, but the PC wired in to the 655 cannot see either.

Any advice appreciated.

I am not a dlink guy but I have the 1522 and it could be the ip address on the LAN side of the 1522.  Check it to make sure the ip addrress/subnet are the same as the routers.  Check to make sure the dhcp scopes do not overlap and are the same ip/subnet.
