HP ePrint configuration problem
« on: April 29, 2012, 02:37:30 AM »

I have just purchased a DIR-635 router. I finished configuring my network & wireless networks. I have PC, networked HP laserjet All-in-one printer/scanner, and mobile devices, such as iPhone, iPad using the network.

All my devices (PC or mobiles) can surf internet. I can also print to my network printer from my PC and receive scanned files via network from the printer/scanner. Yet when I tried configuration HP ePrint (my printer can support it), I received connection error and cannot complete my configuration. I noticed my log had blocked traffic entries. I wonder if this router supports HP ePrint (similar to Apple Air Print).

Thanks & regards,
Kit

I finally figured out the problem was associated to the system software. After installing the latest system patches on the PC initiating the configuration, I can configure HP ePrint successfully and print from my iPhone. So, case is closed.

Thanks & regards,
Kit
