Router stops working after downloading

Hi,

When i am downloading using newsgroups my router stops working and have to manually reset it. I download with speeds around 10mb/s, it feels like it fills up if you know what I mean.

I´ve tried 3 firmwares (now the newest beta) but the problem keeps coming back. I am using a cabled connection, no wireless while downloading.

Is there a fix for this?
