Title: Compatibility with SMC8014w-G?
Post by: morrie on December 26, 2011, 08:44:50 PM
Friends,

I have two questions:

1.    I would like to purchase the DCS-932L camera.  Does anybody know off hand whether it is compatible with the SMC8014w-G - which is what Rogers provides to connect to the internet?

2.  has anybody connected their camera to a wall?  If so, is there a particular bracket they can recommend?

thank you,

Hi,
WRT you question no 2:  I used a 4 in long by 1 in wide by 18 guage aluminum strip; drilled a hole near each end.  I gave it a slight bend, and with the bottom of the dcs 932l held by the aluminum strip, fastened it with two wood screws to the wall.  It was quite secure, and I then aimed it at the thermometer that monitors the temperature in my furnace room.
Regards.
