The DIR-685 looks amazing and I'm going to buy it, but I'm dying to know the internal specs. Processor, memory and OS type. I'm hoping the system uses an open form of embedded Linux that would allow me to access the devices from an ssh console to manage drives and schedule cron jobs and basic networking commands. A home directory would be nice as well. I kind of have my heart set on this thing, but if I don't get a shell, I won't be buying it. It has to be running linux based on the the emulator for the administrative console I saw. Default file system for the internal optional hard drive is ext3. Please give me a command console D-Link!!!!!!!
