DNS-320L - Compatible HDDs
JavaLawyer:
The first list below contains published D-Link approved and verified Hard Drives (HDDs). The second list contains HDDs tested by D-Link forum community end users. If you would like to contribute a HDD you personally tested to this list, please post the HDD make/model/capacity, configuration, length of time in use, and observations (e.g. stability, performance, etc) as a reply to this thread.
*Disclaimer: Hard Drives (HDDs) categorized as tested by end users were neither internally tested nor verified by D-Link. As such, users who opt to purchase HDDs on this list categorized as tested by end-users for their ShareCenter DNS-320 do so at their own risk.

Doctor Doom:
Here is a start. This is the list of compatible drives for the DNS-320L. Also even if your particular HD is not listed here, it does not mean it won't work. I like to remind people that there are only TWO main HD vendors left (Seagate and WD). Why would they make something that's not "standard" ;). My other advice is to stay away from models with "new feature" jargon (spinright, megaspeed, ultrabuffer technology etc). It either won't work or won't be able to take advantage of. Try to stay as plain vanilla as possible.

I use
2x WD Green Desktop 1 TB WDC-WD10EZRX as Raid 1 since about 1 month.
It works fine until now.
