As an update, I changed my VDSL-modem and decided to test throughput again.
Well, the result is the same as on my earlier 890l, QOS-page again is not saving the changes xD
The settings are ok for me at the time, though. So I don't believe I'm bothered to do a new RMA-run. If I need to change them, I just reset the whole machine and setup it again  :o

Let us know how it turned out.

Yes, seem it is an A2. Thanks for the extra information, I never been able to get QoS setting stick which is my major pain. The other issue are just either poorly written software or due a bad unit. Because having to restart and/or reset regularly to get setting to stick is no fun, especially when you have time sensitive device that need to access the Net 24/7. This unit was bought to replace a router that I loved but died after many years of heavy duty services.:)

As someone suggested, I'll try to get in touch with regional Dlink see what they make of this.

Regards,

Zak

Seems like this QoS UI problem has appeared again.

I would make contact with support again and let them know about it. Seems like this hasn't really been fully fixed.

Keep us posted.

May I know the exact steps taken to updating the firmware to 1.20? I would like to know so I can replicate this issue.

Are you wired or wireless to the router during the update?

The previous firmware version before the update?

Yes, you may  ;)

I'm wired, RMA-router was 1.09 when it came and I updated it straight from UI until it was the latest version.
The earlier one I updated manually from latest (1.10?) to intermittent 1.11 and from there to 1.20.
And as a few people has said, QOS-page stops to save after about 3 days, with "Saving"-window just quickly flashing on screen, without the proper countdown as it does when saving properly...

I recovery updated down to 1.09b14 and then used the GUI's automatic firmware upgrade to 1.11 and then 1.20. Messed with the QoS settings but saves any settings thrown at it within 15 seconds.

Is your 890 a rev. A2?

Please try changing the QOS settings after 3-5 days and see if anything happens.

What browser are you using?

A1. And as FurryNutz posted below, whenever I reset the router, the saving of QOS-settings works properly for a while. I would say after 3 days it stops to work... Rebooting doesn't help, only a total reset.

I've been using IE11 and FIrefox ESR but I will try changing the QoS after 3-5 days.

My QoS page still working as expected.

You may need contact TS D-Link again and have them test the returned router.

I have one set up as a camera network and it has been running for 13 days with QoS enabled. I made a few changes just now and it saves each time. So far so good. =)
