After updating to version 1.8, I can no longer connect to my server where I was previously able to with v1.6.1
I was connecting with exactly the same addresses, ports etc. Just tested on a second device that I thankfully didn't update, and it still connects fine.
The error message is
"Warning Message
Can't connect to server"

What iOS version are you using on the Apple device?
Try un-installing the app then re-installing it.
Ensure the configuration of the Server is correct and information has not changed.

I've tried reinstalling it but to no avail. I am positive my information is correct. :(
I am on iOS 9.1

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

I'm having the same issue after the update. No luck on uninstalling either the app or D-Viewcam on the server. :(

I'm trying to setup a test environment here, but, I have one question: What D-View CAM version is the server running?

Nope. Makes no difference. Something has to be up with the new app...or I'm missing something stupid...

Anyone have any luck with a fix for this? I have upper management upset that they can't look at our cameras from home...

You could rollback if you have the old versions stored in iTunes or something.

Anyone get this to work at all yet? New version of the app still will not connect for me

What version of DVC are you using at home? There is v4 for EU region and 3.6.4 for NA region.

Version 1.8.1.2 released 24th March fixed the problem.
