Title: Text has vanished from router web page!
Post by: waveformer on January 25, 2012, 06:07:26 PM
Long time reader, first time poster here.
I'm trying to log on to my DIR-615.  When I enter 192.168.0.1 (someone really should put that on a t shirt), the D-Link logo appears at top, with a generic dropdown menu, a pw entry field and a submit button.  I enter my password and click submit, then a different screen comes up with no text at all, just two generic unlabeled buttons.  Having stumbled onto Bill Gates' Lost Mines with this, how do I get the plain router page back?

Here is what I'm running:

Windows Vista Home sp2 with ethernet connection to router/modem/computer.
What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router. ver E3
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status. router web page inaccessable at present
What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?  Comcast cable
What ISP Modem do you have? Stand Alone or built in router? What ISP Modem make and model do you have?  Linksys standalone cable modem, model BEFCMU210 ver. 3

Any help is appreciated.

Try using a different browser like Opera or FF. If your using IE 8 or 9 try setting compatibility mode.
