DGL-4500 Firmware 1.13 (http://ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Gateway/dgl4500/firmware/dgl4500_firmware_113.zip) appeared a couple of hours ago on the D-Link Ftp server.
Only problem is there are no release notes included in the zip file (would be nice to include)
and no one thought to post any information here on this new version.
Anyone have any information on this version or is it basically the same as v1.13b2 ?

Go to support.dlink.com/downloads
Select the appropriate model. The release notes are in there for that version.
-
Figures,....
I just about never visit the D-Link website as the Forum is the first place that any such information should be posted for everyone who actually checks for the latest firmware releases whether they be beta or actual releases.
After all, it would only take them a quick moment of their time to post the information before they actually take the time to edit the website. :P
Although I still feel they ought to include release notes in the zip file with the firmware.

I'm sad that there's no SharePoint app for Mac.
-
As far as I know, the Sharepoint application hasn't even been released for public use for either Windows OR Mac. So, don't worry. You are in the same boat as other people who are after it too.
Just be patient.

Just got back from the download section.
There is No Change Log to show what differences there is between
DGL-4500_v1.13b2 and the new release v1.13
---------------------------------------------------
What they do list is one minor change for v1.13 from v1.12
Please download the SharePort Utility and see the SharePort manual before use.
(Scroll down to see download links)
¤ Added SharePort
Then when you scroll down, there are links for the SharePort software and manual.
The SharePort I would assume makes use of the new Network USB capabilities.
Other than that, I don't see any mention of the other new USB abilities such as
3G USB Adapter
WCN Configuration
This is why I do not like visiting the website for information cause they tend to omit a lot of information that we really should be able to have access to. After all, we are the ones who are installing it on our routers to test and going through all the head aches.

The SharePoint app (and PDF manual) are on support.dlink.com.
EDIT:
Nevermind. Dragonslore beat me to it.

Yeah, they added that later. :(
I updated to 1.13 about 5 hours ago, so that's probably why I never noticed it.
All the information and change log is there. It's all we pretty much need to know. You also have to keep in mind change logs and such aren't necessarily going to display EVERY single bug. It's just main releases and highlights. Small bug fixes or additions.
-
I kind of get the feeling that the beta became the official release except they gave us a utility to go with the new usb function.
-
I kinda get that feeling too, unfortunately.
As to the change log, I just like having one present.
Preferably one that lists such items as.......
- Changes Between Builds (new features or removal of features)
- New Bugs
- Fixed bugs (eliminated)
- Known bugs (known to be still present)
Something like that, you would not expect to find on the website, but should be present in these forums.
-------------
In the last 13 years, I have periodically been a beta tester of software and infrequently, hardware. But the one thing I am used to seeing is the Change log detailing such items, or at the very least, changes and fixes.

I see no difference from 1.13b02 to 1.13.
