PIN error on IOS
« on: December 13, 2015, 12:25:13 PM »

I purchased 3 new units of DSP-W215.
The WPS net setup goes ok, but ALL the units failed  PIN error message  , making all  useless .....MyDlink app stuck !!
I can see in the router list the DSP-W215 IP number, but it is not possible to connect with  HTTP  :  error message.
I am using Iphone 5s with IOS 9.2 , and  DIR-868L router.

Please anyone have an idea to solve that?

Many Thanks!!

Can the DSPs be set up to connect to the routers SSID name and PW?

The DSP-W215 only enter on network via WPS button. If you try to use the manual way, using SSID and  PW on the card supplied with device, it also did not work.  The IOS wi-fi search find the SSID but fail to connect. PW error issued.
All 3 devices behavior are  the same. All SSID and PW match with device label.
After the WPS ,  in the Router list I can find the DSP IP number allocated , but it is unreachable via HTTP.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
