Help required on Dlink Defend services -DIR 1360
« on: August 10, 2020, 08:27:19 AM »

Hello Team,

I have a D-Link Exo DIR-1360 router, I have activated the D-Link defend services and have downloaded the D-Link defend App from Play Store. After Launching the D-Link Defend App it recognized my router and the connected device and I was able to successfully name all the devices connected to my router. Below are the few problems i am facing with App
1) When I connect to Wifi with my Mobile Android OS, it says "Connected, No internet connection", and im not able to access internet after sometime.
2) Randomly the Wifi gets disconnected automatically in my Mobile.
Both of the above mentioned issues get resolved when i disable the D-Link defend Services.
Please help to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Link>Welcome!

  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?

Is the app configured to block any devices?

What happens if you disable the app?

THe Details of my router Model Name: DIR-1360   Hardware Version: A1   Firmware Version: 1.03.
What region are you located?
I'm from Chennai,India.
Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
I'm connected to my Router through wired connection only.

Is the app configured to block any devices?
Nope the app is not configured to block any devices, the moment i enable DLink defend services  in my D-Link Wifi app all my android phone will get disconnected from the WIFI and gives a notification "WIFI has no Internet." And when i disabled the DLink defend services the connection resumes and i will be able to access internet fine.

What happens if you disable the app?
If i disable DLink Defend servers in my DLink Wifi App, all my  android devices get connected to my WIFI successfully.

PS: This problem happens my Android Devices connected to WIFI, my Laptop and desktop(WIndows) works fine.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Link> Tech Support Contact Information
We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
