I think that the 323 is a good product, but it don't work with Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. Have you some tricks to use your storage system with this pruducts? Like install a UShare server or something other.

Thanks. I hope in a quickly response.   ;D

We are working to improve the compatibilty of our UPNP AV server in future firmwares. Although I do not have a date we will work on improving our compatibilty with other upnp av clients.

Software such as Twonkyvision can be installed to you PC and the Mapped DNS-323 drive can be shared in the Twonkyvision software. Once this is done the PS3 or Xbox can access Twonkyvision on your PC as the media server and play all you supported files from the DNS-323.

The software Twonky is a shareware.

I prefer an upgrade of the firmware from dlink company. I hope that thi firmware will go out quickly.

Thanks  :-*

As a heads up, the PS3 did not add DLNA UPNP Streaming until after the DNS-323 1.03 firmware was released. Since then we have worked towards interoperability. 1.04 is still having some minor changes however it will be released in the near future and as of right now ps3 IS streaming from the DNS-323.

Regarding, Chuckv,

iTunes and UPnP have had some changes and hopefully with the next firmware release will improve your experiencing when streaming from the DNS-323.

Yes, i´m not so good on english, but i think i get it right, I think i understand it that the Ps3 and Dns-323 will work when the new firmware 1.04 comes out. In that case i will be happy and will wait :)

Chuck,

Regarding the XBOX 360, it is looking for specific UPNP header information before it allows us to be seen as a UPNP streaming device. This is related to DRM and we are working on the best approach to adding this to our device for XBOX 360 compatibility.

The DNS-323 should stream to the XBOX360 however without that UPNP information on our device it is blocking our media server from being listed.

New DNS-323, but getting DLNA 2113 errors with the uPnP AV server, even when I have disable the server!

Even when disabled, th PS3 finds the unit in its scan for media servers, then the PS3 displays the error

Any ideas what to do

Firmweare 1.03, PS3 = 2.10

I got the same problem like jeffnoone, DLNA errors from the PS3, even though I have 1.04 firmware and the latest PS3 firmware (2.20).  I address this issue in the thread below.

I hope I can watch all my media files on DNS-323 on Playstation 3.  That would be really cool !!

The DNS-323 with FW 1.04 and PS3 with FW 2.10 work properly together Since the release of firmware 2.20 or 2.30 for the PS3 I have not tested the the two devices. This may be the issue I will have someone test this and revert back with the results.
