I use about 10 wireless devices in my house. Earlier, when I was using D-Link DSL 2750U, all my devices would connect normally, without error. However, when I changed my ISP, I also changed the Wifi router to DIR-803. Now, every once in a while, one or more of my devices will refuse to connect to the wifi router after resuming/waking up from sleep. They will keep showing "Connecting..." to either the 2.4GHz or the 5GHz band SSIDs, but will timeout and stop trying to connect after a while. This is happening on all kinds of devices - iPhone 5S, Nokia Lumia 920, Acer Aspire S7 Laptop etc.
On the wifi router, I can see in the logs several entries like the following, when one of the devices is trying to connect after being woken up from sleep/standby but isn't able to:
Wed Nov 5 18:20:08 2014 Got new client [34:C8:03:92:88:CC] associated from BAND24G-1.1 (2.4 Ghz)

Wed Nov 5 18:12:07 2014 Got new client [34:C8:03:92:88:CC] associated from BAND5G-1.1 (5 Ghz)
To work around the problem, I either have to restart the wifi router or randomly wake up another device which was working till some time back, which somehow triggers a successful connection in the first one also. For example:
Wed Nov 5 18:23:24 2014 DHCP: Server sending ACK to 192.168.0.120. (Lease time = -1)

Wed Nov 5 18:22:46 2014 Got new client [34:C8:03:92:88:CC] associated from BAND5G-1.1 (5 Ghz)
This issue is quite frustrating because one can never be sure if a device being used will be usable after sleep.
Is anyone else facing the same issue?
