Title: Username or password error
Post by: bhavya2020 on July 20, 2020, 05:46:44 AM
hi!
I have a D-Link DIR-615 router, Hardware version: T3, Firmware Version: 20.23 currently using in India.
i=I am not able to login into the router settings, even after resetting it to factory settings.
When using username as Admin and password (blank) it shows
"Username or Password Error, Try Again"
I want to change it LAN IP from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.x because I am trying to create a LAN connection from a router whose IP is 192.168.1.0

Disconnect the router from the ISP modem.
Press the back reset button for 10 seconds then release.
Use IE11 or Firefox browser. Navigate to 192.168.0.1. See if you can either log in with admin and now PW or walk thru the setup wizard...

I have tried logging in using direct connection by LAN also but nothing worked

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that chay/phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
