Title: Can no longer get to router after upgrading to Win 8.1 and IE 11
Post by: gregandrews on November 09, 2013, 04:27:48 PM
I have three computers on my network. I just upgraded one from Win 8.0 with IE10 to Win8.1 & IE11. Now I cannot get to my router from that computer. Error message I get is "Your web browser is old, some features of this web site may not work. Please upgrade your browser." I can still access the router with my other computer (Win 8.0 & IE 10).

Any ideas?

3rd Party Security Software Configurations

Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9 or 10, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection
