DIR 815 LAN does not work
« on: August 19, 2019, 06:42:25 AM »

Hello,

I use my DIR 815 routers for wifi and LAN for one desktop computer. Back from holydays, the wifi works just fine but not the LAN.
I tried changing the cable, switching to another port, another computer (laptop), nothing worked. Before i reset the router to factory settings, any idea of what i could test?

regards,

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Try a factory reset and see if the LAN ports return to operation.

Can you access the routers web page via wireless?
