Locked out of DIR510L
« on: September 18, 2019, 04:21:36 PM »

I was unable to access the internet via my router so used the web interface to perform a factory reset. However, after it rebooted, it would not accept the empty password box which, I understand, is the default.  So, I did  a pin reset but although I can see the ssid and the router asks for a password, leaving the box blank still returns "incorrect password".

Does anyone have an idea how I can get access to the web page?

Thanks

How long did you press the reset button? 10-15 seconds is needed.

Be sure you clear all browser caches as well before navigating to the routers web page.

Connect a wired PC to the back of the router...

Hi, I held it for 15 secs approx and it worked as prior to this I could connect to the router`s web page.  I'll try the caches but the problem is apparent on 2 devices.

I was just thinking about the ethernet connection but can't do it for a couple of days as I am on hols!

Thanks for the help.
