Flushing the DNS Cache
« on: March 04, 2012, 05:38:36 AM »

When the DIR-855 DNS Relay function is enabled how do you flush the DNS cache? Will a reboot of the router accomplish the same thing?

I noticed on my router that I cannot disable DNS Relay. Why is that?

Thanks.

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.

Its recommended leaving DNS relay enabled. You can always flush DNS cache on the client side:
ipconfig /flushdns
