Hi all.  I'm using a D Link 8525LH camera for inside the home.  I've had it for just under two years and in the past week, I keep getting notifications on the app on my phone that the device has been removed.  Not sure why as I haven't pressed the reset button on the camera for this to happen.  It happens about twice a day at the moment for asking coding help. Is this a sign that it's been/is being hacked?
Thank you.
It's understandable to be concerned about receiving notifications that your D-Link 8525LH camera has been removed without your intervention. While this could potentially be a sign of hacking, there are other factors to consider as well. Firstly, ensure that no one in your household or anyone with access to your camera has physically moved or tampered with it. Sometimes, simple human error or accidental movement can trigger such notifications. If you've confirmed that the camera hasn't been physically removed, it's essential to take steps to secure your device and network. Make sure that your camera's firmware is up to date, as manufacturers often release updates to address security vulnerabilities. Additionally, change the default password for your camera to a strong, unique password, and consider enabling two-factor authentication if your camera supports it. Monitor your camera's activity logs for any suspicious behavior, such as unauthorized access attempts or unusual login activity. If you notice any signs of hacking or unauthorized access, immediately disconnect the camera from your network and contact D-Link's support for further assistance. In summary, while the notifications you're receiving could potentially indicate hacking, it's essential to investigate other possible causes and take proactive steps to secure your camera and network.

How can I increase the event recording time from the default 15 seconds to a longer interval on my DSC8302?  I only use the micro SD card for storage at 4 Patti LootThe motion detection is set to "Person".
To increase the event recording time on your DSC8302 camera, access the camera settings and navigate to the event recording or motion detection settings. Look for an option to adjust the recording duration and increase it to your desired interval. Then, save the changes to apply them.

Just got the D-Link DSH-C310.    Not too happy with the fish-eye and how far away and distorted everything looks, but we are working on an alternative placement that may improve things.

A main concern:  given that SD Playback is not going through HomeKit and that you have to use the OMNA app, is there a SECURE way to enable viewing recorded videos over
LTE ios 18 supported devices- as when on the road and you are not connected to your home WiFi?    Does anybody know if you can view recorded videos when on a WiFi network that is NOT the network that HomeKit is running on?  If so, what security is in place?
Yes, you can typically view recorded videos from your D-Link DSH-C310 camera remotely over LTE or any Wi-Fi network, even if it's not the same network that HomeKit is running on. The OMNA app should provide a secure way to access these recordings, but it's essential to review its privacy and security settings to ensure your footage is protected.

Hey everyone,

I've been considering upgrading to slimline radiators for my home, but I have a few questions before making the switch. Are slimline radiators as efficient as traditional ones? Will they provide the same level of heating in each room? I'm also curious about their installation process—is it straightforward or more complex compared to standard radiators? Additionally, how do
slimline radiators fare in terms of durability and maintenance?

If anyone has experience with slimline radiators or insights into their performance and installation, I'd greatly appreciate your input. Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Hey guys I’m a freelancer and I’m looking for a solution to manage multiple clients' sites without them paying for it, while they will have access to it

My question: Do you have a solution, and how much will it cost from
Affordi-Care: Website Management Services?

Thank you

Thanks for dropping some more spam links in here.  If you truly had an issue, you would be posting in a forum dedicated to HVAC and not in an IP Camera forum.  Why must you always pollute these forums with your GARBAGE?

Hey everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm facing an issue with my air conditioning unit, and I could really use some advice. Lately, it's been blowing warm air instead of the cool relief I desperately need. I've checked the filters, but they seem fine. Could it be a refrigerant leak or something else entirely? I'm not exactly savvy when it comes to
AC repair in Austin TX, so any insights or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? How did you resolve it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey everyone,

I've been considering diversifying my investment portfolio by buying some gold, but I'm a bit hesitant. Can anyone share their experiences or insights on the best way to buy gold? Are there specific forms of gold investment that are more reliable or better suited for beginners? And what about storage options—should I go for physical gold or consider
gold providers? Also, how do you navigate the market to ensure you're getting a good deal? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to hearing from fellow investors who've ventured into the world of gold. Thanks!

I am planning to refinance my existing housing loan from bank (vacant lot) to pag ibig AND apply for house construction loan, so 2 loan ung gagawen ko. Pano kaya ang magiging loan payment/proceed nito?

Two different loan, so 2 different housing loan account and payment?

Icocombine nila ung two
paymaj.com? (I guess technically wala sya pinagkaiba sa option 1)

Iappraise nila ung BOM ng house construction and LOT then ileless na nila agad ung buong payment para sa vacant lot pra house construction nalang bbyaran ko? In a nutshell construction BOM+ lot value appraisal= TOTAL APPRAISAL then TOTAL APPRAISAL- lot value = total loan proceeds ko.

I asked psbank and yung option 3 ang ginagawa nila just wondering if my alam ng process ng pagibig.TIA.

no response to this
