Title: 202L recording several videos only a few seconds long
Post by: buk_werm on October 31, 2015, 08:14:17 PM
Have noticed my 202L is recording a bunch of 0-5 second videos.  I have it set to record on motion only and to pre-record 15 sec before and 60 sec after the event.  I checked all the settings but all are correct.  It is starting to take up a great deal of room on my HDD.  Thoughts?

Edit:  If my memory serves me correctly, I think this started around the time I did the last firmware update (few weeks ago).

So I completely deleted by NVR, reinstalled it, formatted HDD, etc. and it is still doing it.  Also in addition to recording 1 sec long videos, on the longer videos it records, it will play about 10-20 sec of it and then jump to a completely different video and stop (hope that makes sense).  Not sure where to go from here.

Is there any information on recording times and configuration in the user manual about this?
What video source are you using to capture the video from?
