For the current return there is. Case ID: C6964697   Though I have mentioned multiple cameras, they just apologize but don't ask for serial numbers or other information.

I'll see if I can get any additional information on this.

This is the Case ID: C6954574 for the camera I purchased and sent back.  The last case ID was for the defective replacement.  (If that helps)

Ok, let us know how the next one does. Any other details about it's operation will be helpful. Date started and how it's configured and what was going on if and when it fails. Also FW version it came loaded with and if you do any updates. There is v1.08 available currently.

Been no body else with this issue so not sure if it's a HW issue or a environment or configuration problem. I would presume D-Link would need to try and reproduce in there labs.

Did you review the past discussion I had with this issue in this thread?

They are primarily configured with the Automatic Set-up utility and I was using the TP Link PoE injector.  Now, I am using a D-Link PoE Switch.   I live in the Chicago area, which is not extreme weather.  The cameras are in the shade and protected from the elements, rain, snow, etc.  I am using D-View Cam and the D-Link cloud to view them.   I am using a SanDisk Memory card 32mb in each camera, also.

Anything else you can think of?

Let us know how the replacement one does and if it fails, what is going on when it does and all the conditions. I have passed this onto D-link for review as well.
I hope we can figure this out.  :o

Hi, Just to follow-up with your January post......   My replacement camera works well.  I have had no issues with it.   :)  Unfortunately, one of my other cameras has failed.  It is doing the same thing, going on and off line.  I am using a D-Link PoE switch and switched to a PoE injector, with no improvement.  I have reset the camera several times.   Unfortunately, it is past warranty.   :(

Thanks for you past help.

Doe the camera work on it's own power adapter with out any PoE connections?

One of my cameras, the first one that I had a problem with, does.  (Coincidentally, I just re-set it.  I noticed it was off line on my D-Cam Viewer.)  It was no longer in warranty.   I have not yet disconnected the camera, which I am currently having trouble with.  I purchased PoE cameras because they are no where close to an outlet.    As soon as I swap it out, I will check.  (Fortunately, D-Link has these on sale for $99.)

Ya, just seeing of this is a PoE issue or a camera HW issue. Kinda hoping that the power adapter may work however you'll find out.  ::)

Wondering if the PoE is somehow degrading the HW on the camera.  ???

I hope not.  That's why I bought the D-Link PoE switch, instead of using the TP Link injector.  I'll check the camera and let you know.   :)

Possible some issues coming from TP-Link injector too.  ::)

Well, this camera was connected to the D-link PoE Switch.  DGS-1100-D8P for most of the time.  I tried the TP-Link as an alternative, after having problems.

I brought my camera into the house and tried the TP-link and it worked fine, inside at 65+ degrees.  Then I took it outside again and it did not work with the injector but DID work with the original power supply .  The temperature started in the mid 30's and the camera started having problems when the temperature dropped overnight.  So, it seems to be related to the heater.  The log for the camera is below:  I have the camera reboot at midnight every night.

I have purchased 10 of these cameras and have had problems with at least 3 of them.   I have had to reset the other one with the original power supply again, today, as well.

Seen some heater issues with other users and some other models a while back. I presume something is the heater code or something is failing. Wondering if the heater or what ever keeps the camera warm is actually failing at colder temps after a period of time.

How long have you had these cameras? How many winters have they gone thru?
"Operating Temperature
-13° to 122° F (-25° to 50° C)"

Something you might start to swap around and see if problems follow.
Sounds like this one camera is ok with it's own power adapter. PoE seems to be odd though.
