« on: May 12, 2014, 11:30:45 AM »

This FAQ entry describes the DSP-W215 Smart Plug maximum current load specifications

Specifications

Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certifies the DSP-W215 Smart Plug for 12.5 Amps. Applying Ohms law and the United States 120 volts power lines, this equates to: 12.5 Amp x 120 Volts = 1,500 Watts maximum power.

The integrated temperature sensor will power-off if the internal temperature surpasses 65 degrees celcius (149 degrees Fahrenheit).
