Title: Firmware upgrade WITHOUT hard drives installed
Post by: Phb on January 18, 2017, 04:18:42 AM
Would anyone know if its possible to complete a firmware update without the hard drives installed?

I got my DNR-322L and was playing around with it while waiting for the HDs to arrive. Would'nt conplete the firmware update despite repeated tries.

Hi FurryNutz,

I just wanted to confirm that YES. Hard drives need to be installed before FW can be updated.
