I have configured image email alert for motion detection with an interval of 1800 seconds, however the camera is sending emails every time motion is detected. I have configured with these settings;
Motion detection settings
- Enabled
- Time - Always
email time schedule settings
- Enable the emailing of images to an email account- enabled
- motion / sound detection enabled
- E-mail attached with 6 frames (3 frames before and 3 frames after detection)
- Frame interval time 1 sec
- E-mail Interval 600 Seconds
Sound detection is not enabled
This appears to be a bug in the e-mail interval settings. They have no effect.
Please let me know of any solutions to fix problem.
Thanks

What is the motion detection sensitivity under SETUP > Motion Detection?
-
News about 1.05?? I'm scared to update. Good results or not?

The sensitivity is 20%. The motion detection is working properly. There are no false detections. Why is it that the email interval settings have no effect?
-
What is wrong with the interval? The cam is creating videos but wait for the next video as long as you configured the interval. But only if there is motion, otherwise he stops.
Please give your meaning about firmware 1.05.

The problem is, the interval is having no effect. Emails are being generated continuously whilst there is motion. In my setup have an interval of 30 mins between emails, however i get emails every min or so whilst there is motion. I'm expecting emails to be generated every 30 mins, not every min while motion is detected. This in my opinion is a bug in firmware 1.05. Id be interested to hear which version this works properly on.

I never used the interval for longer periods. I have it on 3 seconds because I want the complete motion part in my mail.
