850L wifi fail after attaching usb drives
« on: September 19, 2017, 07:08:56 PM »

I tried to us a usb portable hard disk on the router. I was able to activate SharePort and was able to access the drive data from the direct link and mobile app.

However, I notice that the wifi will fail after 10 to 15 minutes. My wifi will show as connected, but status will be "may not have internet connect".

Once i unplug the usb drive, wifi seems to recover. I wonder whether this is due to any setting? or is it the router problem?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Is the USB drive 2.0 or 3.0?
What is the drive size of the USB drive?
