Accidently deleted DNR-202l from mydlink how to get it back
« on: March 09, 2016, 05:50:27 PM »

While having problems with DNR-202l I tried resetting to see if I could get it to be recognized by mydlink, I then deleted from list thinking if I reinstalled it would reappear, but no it is still missing from mydlink account.

Any suggestions on how to be able to access the unit over the web, or get it back on mydelink account, as I can still access the unit locally.

Thanks Bob

Simple, go to mydlink.com click on the "Storage" tab and select the DNR-202L, now, download the installation wizard.

Run the wizard and follow the steps to add it back to your account.

Warning: The mydlink® services have had some issues  today that may interfere with the binding of devices back to your account... They are working on restoring the services, but not sure if that has been done yet.  By the way, this is only affecting the USMP servers, so if you are in another part of the world, you should be fine.
If you are part of the USMP coverage, just be patient and wait a bit if you find problems binding the device back to your account.

Hope this helps!

Yes I ran the wizard many times and it did not come back. I then sent an email to Dlink support and got a reply a couple of hours later saying they had a problem with their servers. Problem their end.

This morning I tried again and its back!

Thanks  Bob

FYI, there was some mydlink service issues yesterday and should be working now.
Thanks for letting us know.
Glad it's working now. Enjoy.  ;)
