« on: April 08, 2013, 02:46:27 PM »

Hello...

This issue is driving me insane, is there a way to embed a stream with this camera into a website without authenticating?

Thanks

I'm not fully qualified to say "No"... but depending on the # of users, the camera probably would not be able to handle a whole bunch of users at one time.

You could always setup a link to the camera with the username/password in it, but IE might block that these days.

IE does block passing authentication now, tried that...ugh!  I just can't believe that there isn't a way to stream the video?  I love the camera but I can't believe that Dlink would not have thought of this?

Just curious - So what's the "issue" with entering a password?

What is your platform?

Are you using https:// or http:// ?

mjpeg.cgi url?

My phone has stored my http:// passwords with no issue.  Google Chrome appears okay with storing passwords.

It's for a public camera for a hotel, they don't want everyone to have to login to see the picture...just using http:// and tried all the mpeg.cgi and other links that are in the documentation

You're going to need to embed it, probably with the password

Hopefully someone else has an idea.

Hi every one
I have the DCS-2310L ip camera and i'm looking for some piece of code (htm/php/javascript) form embedding only a frame with the live video streaming from the cam.... without any control...
any help??...
i have took a look at the source code in the web pages when u put the camera address on web browser but it's not so easy code to copy and cut.. because of many js files inside the Scripts folder etc.. etc... so i need some one who made the job to know what the relevant part of code to cut from the ip camera source and paste in my web page...

Thanks everyone in advance
Marzio
