Massive TX, RX Dropped Packets, and Tons of Wireless Errors
« on: October 14, 2009, 09:06:36 AM »

I have started having issues with my Router.  it is getting a ton of errors, and lots of dropped packets.  I have done just about everything i can think of to resolve these problems.  i have put another router up and it is not having any issues, so it is isolated to the router itself.  i have the latest firmware installed, I have tried to change Wireless channels, but still get tons of loss and errors.  On the Lan side and the WAN side, there is no Packet loss or errors.  Am i Missing something here, or is it time to get a replacement, as it is under warranty still.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Sorry, I should have searched a bit.  I do see that there are lots of problems with this model and the latest firmware.  I guess i will put a timer on it so it reboots every 24 hours, kinda lame.  Guess i wont be buying another Dlink.

So does anybody know the solution here, or is it just wait for new Firmware ???  Rebooting the router once a day sucks.

I noticed unacceptable errors with the 655 as well. I purchased the 825 and there has not been 1 error on the 2.4Ghz spectrum. Definatly something going on with the 655.
