DCS-2311L-ES configuration
« on: September 21, 2019, 01:20:12 PM »

Hi there.
I bought 3 of these cameras pretty cheap. And i just found out why. They where produced for SAGE by HUGHES company for security, and this company does not exist any more. So now these cameras are withous setup option through the cloud service.
They are sold with the DAP-1316-ES WiFi PoE Bridge, and i have access to that part. I can even scan the camera with I-Spy, wich has a powerfull scanner tool.
I get a lot of options i I-Spy, but none works.
A port scanner on the camera gives me something on port 554 and 8992. If i from the browser adress the port 554 directly i get this error
RTSP/1.0 400 Bad Request
Date: Wed, Dec 31 2014 21:27:09 GMT
Allow: OPTIONS, DESCRIBE, SETUP, TEARDOWN, PLAY, PAUSE, GET_PARAMETER, SET_PARAMETER

So i do have a connection to the camera, but there is no webinterface at port 80.

Any idears?

I GOT IT

I made a factory reset of the camera and made a new port scanning, and now there was a port 443, so i made a https attempt at that port, and bingo, there was the webinterface. All usernames for login are admin and no password.
Damn, that was a lucky try :-)
