I put the 1.11 version and it looks working ok, but the unique problem is the connection with my smart TV Samsung and the laptop, (looking the film with are saved in my laptop), and the connection with my Dreambox (possibility to upgrade the server in my box threw my laptop).

Thanks a lot for your help

I am facing a unique issue,my router DSL-2750U ( firmware ME_1.16/V2 upgraded from IN_1.06 / HW V1 ) deosnt automatically connect to ethernet WAN ( from Excitel ISP ) after configuration for PPPOE. I have to toggle between PAP/CHAP authentication modes before it connects.Once it connects it remains stable until it is turned off or rebooted. After reboot, the same issue repeats and sometimes it connects or doesnt.
Therefore, I would like to know whether what I am observing is because of the firmware version ( Middle east firmware on Indian Hardware ) as the Excitel ISP is pointing fingers at the router ( also service name cant be changed from the default name ).Kindly provide your valuable inputs about the same as I want to resolve the issue.

Link>Welcome!

  • What is the actual Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • What region are you located?

Was the modem working before upgrading it's FW?

Thanks for responding  :)
When I bought it the firmware version ( on the sticker ) was IN_1.02( HW: V1) then upgraded it to IN_1.06 and then to ME_1.16.The reason being my present ISP ( Excitel )gives me ethernet for my WAN and not ADSL. The region would be Asia ( Country India ).
It was working perfectly as an ADSL router. As I wanted the ethernet feature on it , I installed the ME_1.16 firmware on it.Initially,it did work for sometime without any issues.Later, it started giving me issues, like it wouldnt connect ( the internet Led stays red and the LAN4 port led ( excitel cable for WAN ) is green ).The ISP made me connect the wan ethernet cable directly to ethernet port of my desktop pc and said it is a router issue.I have reset the router but still its not working.

My device is a Dlink DSL -2750U. There is nothing in between my 275OU and the excitel ethernet cable which plugs into the LAN4 port of my 2750U with ME_1.16 firmware.
