I just updated my Java to 8.31 and using FF 35.0.1. I got logged into my 933L and it said there was a FW update needed. I Skipped it to see if I could get video and waited a while and got the following message:
" Unable to access your DCS-933L.
If you cannot access your DCS-933L, please check that:

You have at least 256K of bandwidth
Your DCS-933L is not being blocked by a firewall or an antivirus program
"
I'll do the update and see what happens after that...

sounds like the update I did back in early Feb (Java update and Firmware update)... worked fine since doing that, but today, none of the browsers are able to access cams... It says my Java version is up to date... don't see any windows updates completed last nite, so not sure what has caused the browser access to mydlink to not work....

Ya it worked a while ago. I also noticed that I couldn't get my DIR-890L router regged to MDL last night either. After updating my 933L today i'm still not getting video with browser. iPhone works.

I'll forward this to D-Link for review.

Please be patient.

I have not. I've passed this information to them. I presume they are aware. I'll be checking with them again tomorrow.

I have a 5020L and 933L.  The 933 is local with me and the 5020 is remote.   Both have worked fine previous to Java version 8-31.  I'm using Safari on a Mavericks Macbook with no extensions installed.   When accessing either Live View or Settings tab on MyDlink, was getting the blue Retry button after installing 8-31.  Now I am getting the Unable to access your DCS-5020L (933L) message.   So the behavior is different but access is still broken.   Thankfully I can still get to Settings via the Local IP address of the Unit.

Is there any progress on a fix?  Unfortunately I happened to be testing some settings and had them setup to mail and notify me of motion detection.  I cannot turn off this setting now as I cannot access the advanced configuration page.  As with others it's working fine on my phone, but I'm unable to access from my laptop/surface with IE, Chrome or Firefox.

Link>Welcome!

  • What D-Link product are you referring to?
  • What region are you located?

D-Link is aware of what users are reporting on this thread, and there's only so much we can offer through this forum in the way of support and re-mediation. We recommend contacting D-Link Technical Support: 1-888-851-6464. D-Link USA technical support is a toll free number (i.e. no phone costs) for users calling within the United States. D-Link also offers email-based support, but I find the live phone support more responsive.
