I have an ip camera set up on my wireless LAN.
IP 192.168.1.19:89
1. I did set up a free DDNS:
Hostname laundrycamera.dlinkddns.com
IP in DNS 192.168.1.19
Browser IP address 27.96.214.117 (this is my computer's ip address externally, it is not static)
2. Went to my router's page (i have firmware version AU_2.01) and to Dynamic DNS inside Advanced tab:
Hostname Username Service Interface
laundrycamera.dlinkddns.com illumity dlinkddns ppp0
3. Navigated to Port Forwarding on the Advanced tab also
once set up, it looks something like this:
Server Name External Port Protocol Internal Port Server IP Use Interface Lan Schedule
START END START END Loopback Rule
LaundryCamera 1 100 TCP 1 89 192.168.1.19 ppp0 DISABLED ALWAYS
the interface of firmware verison AU_2.01 looks different to those on the internet and i cannot be sure i have put the correct details in the correct place.
4. I go to http://laundrycamera.dlinkddns.com/ and the web page is not available. Please help me!!
NOTE: I can view the camera over wireless LAN at http://192.168.1.19:89/index1.htm
I have also tried changing start end port to 89 for both internal and external on the point 3 above.

so i have changed the start port to 1 and the end port to 1000 and i checked the gateway with a port checking tool. Apparently it's open.
I cannot get any result from going to www.laundrycamera.dlinkddns.com. is it something simple here that i'm overlooking?

You'll need to phone contact your regional D-Link support office and have them help you set up the modem.
