Title: DCS-2121 and SD card access
Post by: hauge48 on November 26, 2010, 04:19:40 AM
Hi all,

this is my first post in this forum, but keep my fingers crossed...

Have a home network with DIR-655, a WHS server, handful of Win7 PCs and some media boxes. I am now very recently also into Video Surveilance, notably DCS-2121 - have to watch all that equipment. Amazing little thing!

I thought I would go for video storage on the SD-card. 16 GB is more than enough for event-driven recording and had hoped to get some advice from you guys.

The WEB interface is not very impressive for management of the SD contents - unless I have overlooked something. I have played around with ViewCam, but that doesn't seem to be able to deal with the card - again if I haven't overlooked something.

Is there any other way I can access the SD-card other than the WEB interface?

Thanks.
