Title: upgrade firmware

when i click 'check now' to look for new firmware to download after a long time connecting it tells me there is no response

That is the most current verion available at this time.

There maybe a server or serices interuption on D-Link side.

I recommend manually checking the web site for any updates and using the FW Update Process (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=42457.0) to perform any updates.

if it is the newest version then there is nothing i can do but wait for a newer version...right?

 ;) by the looks, there may not be any more updates unless there is something major wrong or a security flaw issue found.
