DNR-322L Will not record from cameras

Hi All,

Apologies if this is a repeated question.
Ok, so my DNR-322L never has recorded a single frame from either of my cameras. I have a:
DCS-5222LB1 and a DCS-2332L.
Both cameras and the DNR-322L are running the latest firmware as of yesterday and everything has been rebooted.
I can view both cameras within the mydlink+ app on my phone and iPad - whether viewing them as remote cameras or local.
I can also see the DNR-322L within the app although I can only view the cameras - no other functionality (but I think thats normal?).

But, when I login to my DNR-322L through my browser on my network I can see it and modify the settings etc. It sees the cameras fine but it shows them as 'no recording'. It has always done this and there seems to be nothing I can do to change it. The cameras are shown as connected and the stream has 25fps etc and works great.

So, my question is - why on earth doesnt this thing do any recording?? It is a Network Video Recorder after all!!!

Also, there doesnt appear to be any combination of operating system or browser which will allow me to view streams from the cameras. Ive jumped through all the Java hoops but its still a no-go. I have to use the mydlink+ app but this doesnt allow playback on recordings (afaik) even if I had some recordings!

Interestingly, if I login to the cameras via the DNR-322L web interface I can view the streams in the browser - I cannot, however, view them via the DNR-322L web interface?!

Sorry for the rant but if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello everybody,

Unfortunately, I have the same mistake. I see all the cameras via the web interface of the DNR-322L and can also see them via the app.
A recording is only possible if I start it on the computer.
A recording schedule is configured in the web interface of the DNR-322L and it should always record.
Funny thing is on the side of the recording schedule is "Manual recording: Enabled".
Does this have to change from manual to schedule somewhere? At the top, the item "Recording on schedule" is selected.

Hello everybody,
For me, I finally got it now. By default, the recording appears to be on manual recording. You can configure a time response, but unfortunately this only starts when you press the recording button in the web gui on the "Live Video" tab (see manual version 2.10 on page 77). This ends manual recording and the DNR-322L works according to the configured schedule.

At least it helped me and the recording works now.
