How to access router remotely
« on: August 31, 2013, 12:38:02 PM »

I hope this doesn't sound stupid...but how do you access the router remotely (i.e. outside of your network)?  I have set the remote administration up and using the defaults with the 8080 port.  What web address do you use to access? Is it the IP address on the router from the modem that is seen in the status screen?  Thanks in advance.

Look at the WAN IP address under status. Input that with your port number like this in a browser:
http://WANIPADDRESS:8080

Example:
http://62.99.254.254:8090

The routers web page should appear like it does when you home
