This setting is for D-Link DGL, DI, DIR full range of wired and wireless broadband routers. The following is the configuration steps:
A:
- 1. Click Computer icon Right-click [Network and Sharing Center]
2. Select [Change adapter settings] from the left side menu.
3. Select the "Local Area Connection." Right-click, select "Properties."
B:
- 1. Uncheck "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)".
2. Double click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)".
3. Select the "Use the following IP address" and "Use the following DNS server addresses"
4. IP Address field, enter a 192.168.0.2~192.168.0.99 and 192.168.0.200-.254 address for the PC. If you set the IP, ensure other PCs are not using the same address, please use a different IP address to avoid conflict. 192.168.0.100 thru .199 is reserved for default DHCP IP address pool for most D-Link routers.
5. Subnet mask field, please enter 255.255.255.0
6. Default Gateway field, please enter 192.168.0.1
7. Preferred DNS server please enter 192.168.0.1 if DNS Relay is enabled. If DNS Relay is not enabled, enter the Primary DNS IP address if your ISPs default DNS addresses.
8. Other DNS servers please enter 192.168.0.1 if DNS Relay is enabled. If DNS Relay is not enabled, enter the 2ndary DNS IP address if your ISPs default DNS addresses.
9. Click the OK button.
* Please note, if you have to change broadband router's LAN side IP address, please follow your IP address to change the setting here
