Problem on dcs 2310l
« on: August 03, 2015, 02:32:53 AM »

Hello

I have buying an used dcs 2310l.
I have connected it on my network and it works well. (IP is good and the led is not flashing and green)
But i have not the admin password.
I try a hard reset (many times) and now i cannot connect to the camera : the led is flashing red and green.

Do you have any idea ?

Ps: sorry for my poor english.

Have the camera LAN wired to the main host router with a wired LAN PC and then run the setup wizard for the camera from your regional mydlink web site?

What region are you located?
Check the main host routers DHCP IP address table to see if the camera is getting an IP address.

Review the user manual for LED status information.

If the camera isn't being listed on your routers DHCP address table then there is a LAN cable issue so try swapping out cables or there is a problem with the camera...

Do you know the default IP adress for this camera ?
Normally i think the configuration is DHCP, but mauve the hard reset fix an static IP adress ?

it maybe .50 however if it's connected to the main host router, it may change to something different. It should appear there. Yes, once you can get it set up and recognized by the main host router, I believe you can set a static IP address using the IP address he gets from the main host router. I have the 933L and it's set for 192.168.0.93. Outside the DHCP IP address pool which is 192.168.0.100 to .199 on my router.
