Clock not getting correct time from server?
« on: March 13, 2014, 12:56:45 PM »

Is anyone else having trouble with their clock in the 5010? I can enter a time manually, but when the power goes out, so does the time. Then if I set it up to check with one of two servers, it never gets a time and remains wt whatever time and date is set for default.
Am I missing something or is it not set up properly??
EDIT: I did install the latest firmware.

Thanks

Because DCS-5010L doesn't support RTC function, the camera's time will reset to default by rebooting it.
To solve the issue, you must connect the camera to Internet first. Then, enable the NTP sync function and assign an available NTP server. I suggest to use "pool.ntp.org" as the NTP server.
