Hey there,

I have a question about this device. Why are there so many different firmware versions available on all the different d-link websites?

Some examples:

Europe: 2.15b02 & 2.14b05
USA: 2.13b01
Canada: 2.14
Taiwan: 2.13b01 & 2.14b06
Russia: 2.14b01

What is the best version to use just the Europe ones since I bought it there?
And is there no non beta version available somewhere?

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
• What region are you located?

If your located in the EU region, then use the EU region FW located there. It's not recommended ot use any other region on D-Link products. FW is region specific.

It's HW ver: A2 and I'm located in EU so I will just use the latest fw. But is it normal that you get the setup wizard every time while it's configured already?

It's currently configured in hotspot mode I think it didn't work like that with the default 2.12 fw that was on the device but I can't find that version anywhere.
