DLink-325 dlna movie problem with Sony Bravia TV
« on: May 26, 2011, 12:21:33 AM »

Hi,

i have this problem,
i have a dlink-325 and i want to use dlna.

When i go with my ps3 to my dlink-325 i can see all my movies.
I can't see subtitles, altough they are named the same as my movie files.

When i watch on my sony bravia tv(with dlna) i can only see the .mpg video files,
the .avi files are not listed.

Can someon help me with this issue?

The Sony Bravia TV I believe only supports mpeg and mpeg2 therefore you are unable to see videos of unsupported formats on the TV.

Yeah, It may be transcoding the files to MPEG2 the software i capable of doing this I believe. I could be wrong, I would check the TVs manual to verify but I know some of those TV do only support MPEG or MPEG2.
