My new DGL-4100 (1.7) works good on my Win7 computer.
Problem?- XP on my other computer (fresh install"s"/bare) will send, but not receive until I do a Repair?
Reboot, and same no-receive problem comes back!?
I've reset my newer modem (Motorola SB6120)/router several times, and had 2 long sessions with D-Link support to no avail? I've also tried new cat 6 ethernet cables?
My settings are obtain IP automatically.
If I connect directly to my modem, XP connects with no problem.
Any suggestions would be appreciated? ???

It is probably some problem with the automatic speed negotiation. Try setting your card manually to a fixed speed (e.g., 100 Mbps full duplex) in Device Manager/Properties/Advanced.

Router also started having to be constantly reset on my Win 7 computer!?
I Googled, and found the solution (I first reset speed to 100mbps full duplex)!-
NOTE!- FIRST plug computer directly into modem!
Right click & Run Cmd.exe as "Run as Admin" (Vista/7, and NOT as normal logged in Admin!)
ipconfig /flushdns (then press Enter)
then
ipconfig /renew (then press Enter)
then enter exit
press Enter

BTW!- When installing "Trusted" programs in 7, I now always "Run as Admin" & temp disable my AV!
-After installing Puran Defrag 7.1!- I also had to run services.msc in "Run as Admin", in order to disable Win defrag!
